Ed’s life in point form:
1. He was born in 1975 in Scarborough, Ontario. He spent his first two months in an incubator and had his last rites read to him by a priest. Despite this, he survived.
2. Ed spent his first 14 years living in Oshawa, Ontario and is proud of it.
3. From the ages of 14 to 22, Ed lived in Kelowna, BC – save for 8 months spent in Sudbury, Ontario.
4. Ed has lived in the Vancouver area since the age of 22. He currently lives in Port Moody, however if you meet him anywhere outside of Port Moody and ask him where he’s from, he’ll probably say “Vancouver”. It just makes conversation easier. Just about everyone knows where Vancouver is.
5. Ed is married to Janet, a very lovely woman who is probably better than he deserves.
6. Ed and Janet have a daughter. Her name is Teagan and she’s pretty awesome. Ed hopes that she takes after Janet more than she does him. He was a nightmare as a child and teenager (for this, he deeply apologizes to his mom).
7. Ed has been a vegetarian since April Fool’s Day, 2007. He does not want to discuss it while eating.
8. Ed runs the publishing company New Reliable Press.
9. Ed letters comics for other people. Mostly manga and superhero style stuff. This is all done digitally as Ed’s hand lettering is abysmal. You can find out more information about that here.
